Today, after probably at least 6 months of no water pressure, I called the water department. It seems that the pressure reduction valve (PRV) was bad. I have full pressure again. I have completely forgotten how nice that was. It's kind of been like camping. This afternoon I ran the dishwasher and flushed the toilet at the same time. TMI? Sorry.
My dishwasher roller thingy on the right front side (closest to the stove) is broken. I think this is the same one that was replaced in September but I have contacted Concho Valley Appliance and they are going to order me another one and send Homer back. HOW do I know that it was September and that Homer was the one who came last time and that the part number is 8539128? Because I kept the receipt. Sometimes I surprise myself.
AND, joy of joys, my pool is ready. The water temp is about 83/84. I had Joey and Carolyn take the cover off Monday evening so I could vacuum and add algaecide and let little sweeper thingy do it's thing. Sweeper thingy is not working very well, but I think it is because it needs a new net. I have scrubbed and scrubbed the algae and it is looking so much better. All but about 6 leaves are gone. When I dip the pool tester stick, all of the colors are pretty and in the right ranges. I just love that. I am going to keep scrubbing as often as I can to get rid of any remaining algae. Joey said he might scrub some today and I did notice that he had his fancy-smancy goggles out so that is a good sign.
Shoulder still hurts from what I think is a rotator cuff muscle injury from Pooh. I am going to get a massage tomorrow and I am hoping that will do the trick. I really don't want to have to pay for any doctor's visits, MRIs, xrays, etc.
