Scrapbooking

I finally did it.  I finally started making a scrapbook for Bibianna.  Since Honk, Jr. I have been collecting playbills, and pictures, and mementos from shows to one day make her a scrapbook.  I collected so much for so long that I got tired of seeing it piling up in my office so I started shoving it into boxes, or folders, or who knows where, so that I am having a little bit of a problem finding a few things (like the newspaper article from Honk, Jr.) but that's OK.  I have a book that will be easy to add pages too and move pages around so that when I do find it, voila, it can be added to the book just like it was always there.

In order to finally put this plan into action, Suzy Roberts and Ashley Scott planned a scrapbooking session at Suzy's house.  Both of these delightful women are scrapbooking pros.  Ashley even has a Cricut and Suzy used to sell scrapbooking supplies.  I arrived at Suzy's house with two armfuls of folders and papers and miscellaneous things that I have found and in about 10 hours, I had pages that contain the memories from Honk, Jr., Wizard of Oz, and Annie Get Your Gun.  Suzy told us to just leave all of our stuff there and we can come back whenever we want and work on our books.  I am so excited about this.  I am also finally motivated, for the first time in a long time, to go through all the piles of stuff that I have been saving.  One, I would like to find some of the stuff I am missing, like the aforementioned newspaper article and secondly, I love the idea of these piles of stuff being put into an organized and delightful book.

I can't wait to go back and work some more.
